Congress alleges 18 Rajasthan councillors detained in Haryana

Congress alleged Haryana Police detained 18 party-backed councillors from Rajasthan's Tijara in Panchkula while returning to vote in the municipal council chairperson election. Police denied involvement while Congress leaders staged a sit-in at Pinjore police station, alleging 'murder of democracy'. The councillors were later released near Shahabad-Kurukshetra.
