NASA's Terra satellite captured a striking image of the Ganga Delta shrouded in dense fog on January 6. The image captured by Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) instrument showed low-lying clouds across the Indo-Gangetic Plain spanning Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. Officials warned of moderate to very dense fog as a cold wave persisted over the region on Tuesday.
