North Korea has reportedly banned the preparation and consumption of hotdogs in the country, stating that they'd amount to treason. Any person found cooking/eating the item could be sent to labour camps, reports claimed. In North Korea, hotdogs and processed meat are typically used to make Budae-jjigae, a South Korean dish which is also banned in North Korea.
