German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is scheduled to visit Ukraine, Russia on February 14 and 15 respectively amid rising tensions between the West and Russia over Ukraine. A government source on Sunday revealed Scholz will warn Russian President Vladimir Putin of "heavy consequences" if it invades Ukraine. This comes as Russia held naval exercises and amassed large troops at Ukrainian border.
