Gold falls to one-month low as US Fed keeps interest rates unchanged amid Gulf war

Gold prices fell below $5,000/ounce (around ₹1.5 lakh/10 gram) to hit its lowest level since February 6 on Thursday in the global market. This comes as the US Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged over the "uncertain" impact of the Middle East war on the country's economy. Spot gold fell 2.9% by 2:58 ​p.m. ET (1:28 a.m IST), Reuters reported.
