The death toll in flash floods and landslides triggered by overnight heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri and Poonch districts has risen to 18, including several children. The disaster followed a sharp rise in the Chenab River and several other streams. Around 50 vehicles were washed away, while residential and commercial buildings suffered extensive damage.
