Indian-owned SunRisers Leeds on Thursday bought Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed in The Hundred auction. They bought Abrar, who has mocked Indian Armed Forces multiple times, for £190,000 (₹2.34 crore). Trent Rockets were the other team who bid for Abrar, who had a base price of £75,000. SunRisers Leeds, owned by Sun Group, are facing criticism for buying a Pakistan player.
