Early trends show BJP-led Mahayuti crossing half-way mark in Maharashtra
Early trends in the counting of votes for the Maharashtra Assembly elections showed Mahayuti, an alliance of BJP, NCP and Shiv Sena, crossing the half-way mark of 144 seats in leads. Mahayuti is currently leading in 147 seats. Meanwhile, MVA, an alliance of Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP), is leading in 84 seats.
