Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting the impact of 50% US tariffs on Indian exports. Citing Tiruppur, he said exporters have reported a staggering loss of ₹15,000 crore in confirmed orders, along with production cuts of up to 30% across units. Stalin added that new orders are “drying up at an alarming rate".
