The Kashmiri Language Union threatened protests if Jammu and Kashmir does not ensure Dogri and Kashmiri are taught in schools, a representative told The Chenab Times. Despite being in the curriculum, the languages are not taught due to a lack of teachers, the Union said. They demand inclusion from Class 1 to 10 and teacher recruitment through a rehbar-e-zuban system.
