Chipmaker Micron Technology is considering supplying made-in-India semiconductor chips from its Gujarat plant to Apple for iPhones it produces in India, Business Standard reported. Apple vendors currently import chips for manufacturing iPhones. Micron, which is building an assembly test marking and packaging plant in Sanand, hasn't finalised a deal with Apple yet.
