Cancer meds worth ₹2,700 being sold for ₹27,000, says SC; calls it daylight dacoity

The Supreme Court expressed displeasure over the fact that medicines essential for cancer, whose price to retailer is ₹2,700, were being sold for ₹27,000 to patients. Calling it broad daylight dacoity, the SC said, "It is surprising that the authorities who are supposed to take a decision on this are absolutely silent...We needn't spell out the reasons for that."
