Mumbai's drinking water reserves climbed to 8.12 per cent of useful storage capacity after heavy monsoon rain increased lake levels by 13,661 million litres in 24 hours. Officials said the city's seven reservoirs now hold 1,17,532 million litres, while forecasts indicate more heavy rainfall in the coming days.
