Parts of Delhi-NCR witnessed light rain and thunderstorms on Sunday morning, bringing a respite amidst rising temperatures in the region. This comes as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds for the national capital today. The IMD said the rainfall was caused by a western disturbance affecting parts of north India.
