India reach men's kabaddi final at Asiad for 9th time in 10 editions

The Indian men's kabaddi team defeated Thailand to advance to the final at the Asian Games 2026 in Japan on Friday. Having topped Group A by winning all their matches, defending champions India beat the first-time semi-finalists 66-28. Notably, this will be India’s ninth Asian Games men's kabaddi final in 10 editions.
