Arunachal CM meets MLAs, tribals to ease Siang Dam fears

Amid protests and violence over the proposed 11,200-MW Siang Upper Multipurpose Project, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu held separate meetings with legislators and indigenous community representatives on Sunday. He flagged misinformation, stressed transparency, and said dialogue is key. The Centre also deployed additional RAF personnel after arson and clashes erupted in Siang districts on Friday.
