"Girls should not give up education and sit at home and do some domestic work" because they don't have access to sanitary pads in schools, Supreme Court said on Monday. The court asked the Centre to ensure its directions on menstrual hygiene facilities are implemented across the country. The court had mandated free sanitary pads for girl students in schools.
