Taliban in Afghanistan has appointed Ikramuddin Kamil as 'acting consul' for the Afghan mission in Mumbai, reports said, adding that the Indian government hasn't commented on the issue yet. This is the first such appointment made by the Taliban regime to any mission in India, Afghan media reported. Kamil has reportedly agreed to function as a "diplomat" in the consulate.
