Speaking in Finland, EAM S Jaishankar said people should remember that US had "specifically asked" India in 2022 to continue buying Russian oil to help stabilise energy markets. He noted that US later imposed tariffs over Russian oil purchases and then lifted sanctions. "Let's not pretend there's some great principle involved here...We're adults...we know what the game is," he said.
