Indian para sprinter Mohammed Basil, who won silver at the Commonwealth Games 2026, hails from Kerala's Malappuram. The 21-year-old, who was born without his right arm, discovered para athletics while in Class 10. Basil went on to win gold at the Khelo India Para Games before clinching another gold on his international debut at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
