Bhiwandi woman dies post-surgery; family alleges negligence

Mai Haresh Mhatre, a 30-year-old woman, died at a hospital in Mulund, after being shifted from Lifeline Hospital in Bhiwandi following a surgery for abdominal pain. Her husband alleged medical negligence and lack of informed consent, demanding action against doctors and hospital management. Lifeline Hospital denied negligence, stating her condition deteriorated despite efforts. Kon Gaon police are investigating.
