The number of generative AI startups in India grew over 260% YoY to 240 in the first half of the year, a NASSCOM report said. The country now ranks 6th globally in its share of Gen AI startup ecosystems, the report stated. These startups have raised more than $750 million in cumulative funding since 2023, it added.
