Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has agreed to appoint Transport Minister and Shiv Sena leader Pratap Sarnaik as the new chairman of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). The appointment comes just a month after the government appointed IAS officer Sanjay Sethi as MSRTC chairman, a move seen as a political snub to Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde.
