Members of Muslim community hold rally in Manipur over appointment of non-Muslim in Waqf Board

The members of the Muslim community held a rally in Manipur's Thoubal district against the recent appointment of a non-Muslim member to the state Waqf Board. Notably, on August 3, the state government appointed seven members, including BJP state president and Rajya Sabha member A Sharda Devi, to the eighth Waqf Board of Manipur.
