Why shouldn't a person use their phone immediately after waking up in morning?
short by Ankush Verma / on Wednesday, 9 October, 2024
When a person wakes up in morning, their brain moves from delta state (restful) to theta state (dreamy), then to alpha state (awake but not fully processing information) and later to beta state (fully alert), experts said. Using phone puts stress on brain as it jumps directly to beta state from delta. This could also increase anxiety and irritation.
