PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen pay from own pockets & still win titles after SAI funding cut

Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen reportedly had to fund their European tour after the Sports Authority of India (SAI) withheld financial support. They had to bear travel, food and accommodation expenses but both still clinched singles titles at Hylo Open in Germany. SAI blamed the Badminton Association of India's failure to submit proposals on time for funding cut.
