Baseless: Delhi Police on allegations of physical assault on female protesters

Delhi Police has dismissed social media claims that female protesters were subjected to physical assault during a protest at Jantar Mantar against CEC Gyanesh Kumar over SIR of electoral rolls, calling the allegations "baseless". The police said female protesters were handled by female staff and treated with dignity. It added that detentions and releases were carried out as per law.
