Perplexity accused of giving Meta, Google access to its chats with users

Perplexity AI is facing a class-action lawsuit in US for embedding a tracking code directly into its search engine's interface. The complainant claimed that "undetectable" trackers are downloaded onto their devices when users log into Perplexity's home page. This gives Meta and Google full access to chats between users and Perplexity, which they use for targeted advertising or selling purposes.
