AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami, also known as EPS, has secured a victory in Tamil Nadu Assembly election from Edappadi constituency in the Salem district. Palaniswami, who contested against DMK’s Kasi C from his home turf, got 1,48,933 votes and defeated Kasi C by 1,04,922 votes. Palaniswami served as the seventh CM of Tamil Nadu from 2017 to 2021.
