Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir has filed a lawsuit in Delhi High Court after his identity was misused through AI deepfakes and fake visuals. He has sought ₹2.5 crore in damages from entities allegedly using his name and images to promote and sell merchandise, as well as creating AI-generated videos and deepfakes to circulate misinformation.
