Will not allow pilferage of offerings: SC on siphoning of donations at Banke Bihari Temple

Reacting to allegations of siphoning away of donations at Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, Supreme Court directed that every penny donated must land in donation boxes or online into temple treasury, adding it will not allow pilferage of offerings. It said this after advocate Maninder Singh submitted a status report about the functioning of the temple and highlighted serious issues.
