A user in the Xbox Insider programme claimed a recent update "bricked" their Series S console. Responding on X, Microsoft Gaming CEO Asha Sharma said, "Looking into this." A "bricked" system refers to a device rendered completely unusable due to a failed update or software issue. Another user also claimed the update "broke" their Elite Series 2 controller.
