The BCCI has imposed a lifetime ban on video analyst Raja Reddy after he attempted spot-fixing during the Ranji Trophy 2024 quarterfinal match between Andhra and Madhya Pradesh in Indore. Reddy allegedly offered Andhra player Girinath Reddy ₹5 lakh for playing XI details and for conceding runs deliberately. Girinath refused the offer and informed his team manager.
