India, one of the biggest buyers of Russian oil since 2022 and one of the biggest exporters to US, could be hit with 500% tariffs by the US over its Russian oil purchases. This could make Indian goods less attractive in local US markets and may even affect the India-US trade talks. It may weaken investor confidence in India, too.
