17 judges recused from IFS officer Chaturvedi's cases

Seventeen judicial officers, including two Supreme Court judges, four Uttarakhand High Court judges, and nine CAT judges, have recused themselves from cases involving IFS officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi. The trend began in November 2013. The latest recusal was by CAT Delhi judge Rajveer Singh Verma on September 21, 2026.
