MI New York all-rounder Kieron Pollard hurled the ball towards Washington Freedom captain Steve Smith during MLC 2026 Eliminator. After Smith toe-ended a delivery back towards Pollard in 14th over, Pollard collected and threw the ball in Smith's direction before giving him a death stare. The throw sailed over Smith's head after which both got involved in a verbal exchange.
