Suresh Koth, a farmer leader in Haryana, criticised the state government for implementing penalties like fines and FIR against farmers for stubble burning. He said stubble burning is happening wherever farmers haven't been provided with machines. "This dictatorship won't be tolerated...We'll not give a single penny as penalty," he added, stating, "Farmers' contribution to pollution is just 3-4%."
