Tamil Nadu CM Vijay expands free breakfast scheme

Tamil Nadu CM Vijay expanded the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme to Classes VI–VIII on September 22, benefiting 15.3 lakh additional students across 15,454 schools. Launched in Chennai, the scheme gets ₹217.63 crore extra funding, totalling ₹724 crore. Vijay was seen serving and eating with students, drawing praise online.
