China has deployed over 200 obsolete 1960s-era J-6 fighter jets, converted into attack drones, at six air bases near the Taiwan Strait, reports said. These jets-turned-drones have been identified at five bases in Fujian and in Guangdong. These drones are intended to strike targets in the opening phase of an assault on Taiwan or US allied targets, reports added.
