Sanctions won't change our position as nuclear armed state, they work on weak: N Korea

North Korea denounced a joint statement by several countries about monitoring sanctions against it, calling it "violation of its sovereignty" born of hostility by US ​and the West, its state media said. "Sanctions and ‌pressure ⁠may work on the weak...never on us," the country said. "The ​stereotyped sanctions ​racket...[cannot] influence [our] ​position...as ​a ⁠nuclear weapons state," it added.
