CSK have sacked their head coach Stephen Fleming after 17 years. This comes after the franchise failed to reach playoffs for three consecutive seasons. Under Fleming, CSK won five IPL trophies as well as two Champions League Twenty20 tournaments. Fleming took over as CSK head coach in 2009 after representing the team as a player in 2008.
