List of world's 10 most innovative countries revealed

Switzerland has been ranked the world’s most innovative country in the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Global Innovation Index 2026. It is followed by Sweden, the US, South Korea, Singapore, the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Denmark and China. India ranks 38th, with WIPO noting that it has remained an innovation overperformer for 16 consecutive years, alongside Vietnam.
