OpenAI has hired Peter Steinberger, the creator of the popular open-source AI programme OpenClaw. "He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do...useful things for people," OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said. Steinberger said OpenClaw "will move to a foundation and stay open and independent".
