The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR for August 5, forecasting rain and thunderstorms. According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall is expected during the morning and forenoon, while very light to light rain is likely at night. The IMD had also issued a yellow alert on Tuesday as Delhi-NCR received rainfall.
