Indian-origin engineer's Discovery Loop to raise funds at $50 bn valuation: Report

Discovery Loop, an AI startup founded by former Google chief scientist Jeff Dean and Indian-origin Sanjay Ghemawat, is seeking funding at a $50 billion valuation, Business Insider reported. It had recently sought $1 billion at a $10 billion valuation. Strong AI investor demand, competition for researchers and rising costs of developing AI systems are driving startups to raise capital sooner.
