India celebrates Bhagat Singh's 119th birth anniversary

India marked revolutionary Bhagat Singh's 119th birth anniversary on September 28. Born in 1907 in Punjab's Banga village, he sacrificed his life alongside Rajguru and Sukhdev for India's freedom struggle. PM Narendra Modi paid tributes, calling his spirit a symbol of youth's courage. A state-level event 'Jashn-e-Inquilab' was held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.
