Singapore announces fines of up to ₹3.75 lakh for playing loud music on buses, soiling parts of buses

Singapore has announced huge fines for nuisance and disruptive behaviour on public buses and at bus interchanges and terminals. A fine of up to SGD500 (₹37,500) will be imposed if a passenger places feet on seats, plays loud audio, litters, eats or drinks. A passenger will be fined up to SGD5,000 (₹375,000) for soiling any part of a public bus.
