The Karnataka government on Thursday decided to set up data centre parks across Bengaluru, Mysuru and Mangaluru to drive industrial growth. The three parks together are expected to have a total capacity of 1,000 MW. A 500 MW sustainable data centre park will come up near Hoskote in Bengaluru, which will be powered by solar energy from Pavagada.
