Axis Bank opened its first digital locker-focussed branch in New Delhi, aiming to address the growing shortage of safe-deposit lockers in urban areas. Located at Capital Green, DLF Midtown Plaza, the branch offers automated locker services in premium residential zones. The bank said nearly 6 crore Indians may need lockers by 2030, against a current supply of about 60 lakh.
