Whoop, a $10-billion health tracking app with 800+ employees, sued its rival Bevel, an app being run by 20 employees, for alleged copyright infringement. Bevel CEO Grey Nguyen claimed the lawsuit was filed months after a senior Whoop executive reached out to Bevel for a collaboration, which Bevel refused. Whoop claimed Bevel copied its dark mode and ring-shaped design features.
